    Educational manual of Echo-Color Doppler and Echocardiography.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    This manual was written with the aim of introducing the reader, through an interdisciplinary approach, to the fascinating world of color imaging. We have sought to avoid passive instructions in favor of an interactive teaching method that includes, at the end of each chapter, questions and problems useful for reviewing the material presented in the text. This approach simplifies learning and memorization of the topics covered, to your benefit.<\/p>\n

    For the same reason, in order to facilitate anatomical orientation and the identification of structures, we have created explanatory drawings alongside the complex echo-color Doppler images. Try to identify the structures indicated in the drawings by numbers before checking your answer on the inside cover. Experience shows that this is the most immediate and intuitive method of learning, rather than \u201cnavigating\u201d between drawings and abbreviations. If you consider the sporting aspect, you might even find it enjoyable.<\/p>\n

    The approach used in this book is based on the authors\u2019 experience gained in the context of educational courses in ECD. The interdisciplinary courses, an integral part of the Arbeitsgruppe Medizindidaktik D\u00fcsseldorf, limited to groups of five participants per tutor, have achieved great success and widespread approval (www.medidak.de).<\/p>\n

    As instructors, we have gathered the participation of colleagues Franca Bergfelder, Jonathan Br\u00fcck, Klemens Freitag, Ira Gabor, Arnd Giese, Fabian Girke, Maike H\u00fcssmann, Anne J\u00e4ckel, Kai Jannusch, Kathrin Klein, Nicole Majewski, Alice and Ole Martin, Ralf Rulands, Stefan Schmidt, Thomas Schmidt, Isabelle Stetter, Christian Weigel, Daniel Weiss and Bj\u00f6rn Wieland.<\/p>\n
