Images are accompanied by black-and-white drawings that help identify anatomical structures, whose names are indicated numerically and listed in the cover flaps.<\/p>\n<p>Images, drawings and related text are always grouped on the same page. Each main chapter begins with a checklist designed to develop a systematic approach to reading CT images of an entire anatomical region.<\/p>\n<p>For learning support, these checklists and key information on contrast media usage are also provided on pocket reference cards, useful until sufficient interpretative experience has been acquired.<\/p>\n<p>This manual is intended for medical students, radiology technicians, residents and trainees, as well as physicians in training who wish to acquire basic knowledge of computed tomography. It is also aimed at future clinicians who will prescribe CT examinations and seek a deeper understanding of the technique and its
