      We hope this international obstetrics reference will be useful to all physicians, whether already specialised or currently in training. Its goal is to help answer two core questions: How should I treat this patient?<\/em> How should I perform this procedure?<\/em><\/p>\n

      The work presents a broad range of management options. Unlike many traditional textbooks grounded primarily in a single author\u2019s experience, contributors to each section were asked to provide their preferred therapeutic approach across all relevant areas. As a result, each chapter reflects a wide spectrum of acceptable treatments, enabling readers to select the option\u2014or combination of options\u2014best suited to their clinical setting and their patient.<\/p>\n

      The book is designed to be practical. It aims to address challenging real-world questions that arise in medical practice, often shaped not only by clinical data but also by time constraints, equipment availability, financial resources and patient circumstances.<\/p>\n

      Topic presentation has been made as consistent as possible (while still allowing each author\u2019s voice to emerge) so readers can quickly become familiar with the format.
