Hoppenfeld S. - deBoer P.

Vie di Accesso e Anatomia Chirurgica in Ortopedia

Large format volume (22 x 28 cm) with 870 illustrations, fully printed in color, 760 pages.

Why produce a fourth edition?

The new edition includes many new minimally invasive surgical approaches. New minimally invasive approaches are included for the humerus, the distal femur, and the proximal and distal tibia. New approaches for external fixation are included, particularly bridge fixation. New approaches for the spine and the calcaneus are also presented.

Computer-assisted surgery is also growing rapidly, especially in the field of joint replacement surgery.

Readers are encouraged to study the anatomical sections of the new approaches together with classical surgical approaches to ensure patient safety.

We believe that the fourth edition of this book includes a comprehensive range of surgical approaches required for the treatment of patients with orthopedic and traumatic conditions. Classical extensile approaches, minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopy, and external fixation are all tools that a competent surgeon must master in order to fully assist patients.
