Citologia Ematologica in Automazione

Large-format volume (22 x 28 cm), 240 pages with approximately 450 colour illustrations. Fully printed in four-colour process on special paper and bound with a laminated colour dust jacket.

This volume represents the outcome of extensive clinical experience and collaboration in the application of hematological instrumentation across all areas of pathology. Research, study and hands-on experience are essential prerequisites for the correct diagnostic use of automated analytical data.

The selected case series presented in this book was collected during a multi-instrument evaluation carried out at ReCAMH between November 2002 and April 2003, with limited additions in 2004 to complete the dataset.

Particular emphasis is placed on automated bone marrow blood analysis, an area expected to gain increasing relevance in laboratory practice thanks to the development of dedicated software solutions.

Each chapter introduces a single pathology through peripheral blood reports generated by four different analytical technologies. Knowledge of the underlying methodology enables pre-microscopic diagnostic orientation among default and research data produced by the analyzers.

Each chapter is complemented by selected microscopic images and a final diagnostic-therapeutic summary based on the most recent literature, along with updated bibliographic references. The final chapter includes a self-assessment test.
