…The world of Phlebology is currently experiencing a very particular moment: saphenous vein stripping, which for many years represented the only surgical technique for chronic venous disease, has progressively been replaced first by hemodynamic surgery and more recently by endovascular techniques, laser and radiofrequency, often leading to the application of the same technique to patients with very different clinical presentations.
