The COVID-19 (nCoV-19) outbreak began in December 2019 in Wuhan, China, and rapidly spread worldwide, with numerous healthcare workers infected. We report the case of a young patient with confirmed nCoV-19 infection evaluated through lung ultrasound, discussing the potential applications of this technique during the pandemic. Point-of-Care lung ultrasound allowed the disease to be identified directly at the bedside. It also offers several advantages: reduced exposure of healthcare personnel, repeatability for follow-up, low cost, and ease of use in resource-limited settings.
