This project was conceived to provide a practical, modern and up-to-date textbook, enriched with tables and diagrams designed for immediate consultation.

The work is intended for advanced medical students, residents, specialists, and professionals who wish to practice medicine in a thorough and appropriate manner.

The book also addresses issues frequently encountered by General Practitioners. For this reason, each section includes chapters written by General Practitioners, outlining concise operational guidelines for daily practice.

The aim of the project is to collect concise, updated and practically useful contributions from specialists selected for their expertise in their specific fields, in order to reach diagnosis and therapy of the patient considered as a whole.

The result is a comprehensive work written by Italian Internists and General Practitioners, destined to become a reference text for specialists, residents and General Practitioners.
