Welcome to the e-commerce website of Verduci Editore S.r.l. The offer and sale of products on our website https://www.verduci.it are governed by the following General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

You can request and receive support from Verduci Editore S.r.l. for online orders, returns and information on the delivery of ordered goods by contacting our Customer Service at +39 06 39375224, even just to receive personal assistance.

Some information on online orders and on the delivery status is available in your personal profile by logging in with your registration credentials (username and password) on our website. All communications will be sent to the e-mail address used for registration.

Not all products are always available throughout the year. If you have specific requests, you can contact us by phone or e-mail so that we can try to meet your needs.

General terms and conditions of sale

These General Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of products made remotely via the Internet on the website https://www.verduci.it, owned by Verduci Editore S.r.l.

The products purchased on the above-mentioned website are sold directly by Verduci Editore S.r.l., which also owns and manages the website.

Registered office and business address: via Gregorio VII, 186, 00165 – Rome (Italy).

The website has been created for the sale of items in compliance with Italian regulations on distance contracts (Legislative Decree no. 70/2003). Sales are governed by these General Terms and Conditions.

Customers are therefore invited, before submitting an order, to read carefully the general terms and conditions of sale, and the information contained herein, and to print or save them on a durable medium accessible to them.

Purchase procedure

  1. Customers may purchase the products listed in the electronic catalogue of Verduci Editore S.r.l., described in detail in the e-commerce section of the website https://www.verduci.it within the relevant categories, as described on the product pages. The publication of products on the website constitutes an invitation to Customers to submit a purchase offer. The order sent by the Customer is a contractual proposal and implies full knowledge and total acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. Correct receipt of the Customer’s proposal is confirmed by Verduci Editore S.r.l. by an e-mail sent to the address provided by the Customer, which confirms only that the proposal has been correctly received by our IT systems.
  2. Each order can be reviewed by the Customer via the automatic e-mail containing the order summary. In case of doubts or problems, please contact Customer Service at +39 06 39375224 or by e-mail at info@verduci.it.

Acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale

  1. The contract between Verduci Editore S.r.l. and the Customer is deemed to be concluded upon acceptance, even partial, of the order by Verduci Editore S.r.l. Such acceptance is considered tacit unless otherwise communicated to the Customer by any means. By placing an order in the ways provided, the Customer declares to have read all the information provided during the purchase procedure and to accept fully these general terms and conditions and the payment conditions set out below.
  2. If the Customer is a consumer (i.e. a natural person purchasing goods for purposes unrelated to his/her professional activities), once the online purchase procedure has been completed, he/she shall print or save an electronic copy of these general terms and conditions of sale and keep them, in compliance with Italian regulations on distance contracts.
  3. The Customer shall have no right to compensation or damages, nor any contractual or extra-contractual liability for direct or indirect damages to persons and/or property, arising from non-acceptance or partial fulfilment of an order.
  4. The order sent by the Customer to Verduci Editore S.r.l. via the Internet must be complete in all its parts and must contain the elements needed to identify the Customer, the products ordered and the delivery address, otherwise it will be null and void. Verduci Editore S.r.l. will send the Customer an order receipt confirmation by e-mail. The delivery address must be “attended”, i.e. a person must be present regularly enough to receive the parcel.
  5. By submitting the order, in the ways provided by the operating instructions of the website, the Customer declares to have read all the information provided during the purchase procedure and to fully accept these General Terms and Conditions and the payment terms described below.

Product prices – Shipping costs – Product availability

  1. All product prices are clearly indicated on the website and are inclusive of VAT.
  2. Some products are displayed on the website but cannot be added to the cart. This may be due to lack of availability. For further information you can contact us by e-mail at info@verduci.it or by phone at +39 06 39375224.
  3. Product prices shown on the website may be changed at any time without notice; however, for orders already being processed or already accepted by Verduci Editore S.r.l., the sales conditions in force at the time the order was sent by the Customer will apply, except for orders not accepted as set out in paragraph 3 above.
  4. Delivery times vary depending on the destination area. Until the goods are shipped by Verduci Editore S.r.l., the Customer may cancel or modify the order solely by calling +39 06 39375224.
  5. The cost of each shipment, which may vary depending on the weight of the parcel and the destination of the products, is added to the total price of the products and is clearly indicated and communicated to the Customer through the website, before the Purchase Agreement is finalised.
  6. For shipping costs, please refer to the tables in the “Payment and shipping costs” section.
  7. The visual representation of the products on the website, where available, usually corresponds to the photographic image accompanying the product description. It is understood that the images of the products have the sole purpose of presenting them for sale and may not be perfectly representative of their characteristics, differing in colour, size or any accessories shown in the picture. In case of discrepancies between the image and the written product description, the latter shall prevail.

Payment

  1. Payments for Purchase Agreements concluded through the website may be made via PayPal, bank transfer or cash on delivery. For details, please refer to the “Payment methods” section. When finalising the Purchase Agreement, after checking the order summary and verifying all details, the Customer shall confirm the transaction.
  2. Verduci Editore S.r.l. reserves the right to request additional information from the Customer (e.g. landline phone number). If the requested information is not provided, Verduci Editore S.r.l. reserves the right not to accept the order.
  3. For the Customer’s greater security, at no time during the purchase procedure is Verduci Editore S.r.l. able to access the credit card information of the purchaser, which is transmitted via secure connection directly to the banking institution that manages the transaction. No computer archive of Verduci Editore S.r.l. stores such data. Verduci Editore S.r.l. can therefore in no case be held liable for any fraudulent or improper use of credit cards by third parties at the time of payment of products purchased on www.verduci.it.

Delivery and documentation

  1. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination and always include 24/48 hours for order preparation and 24/48 hours for transport, for a total of 48/96 hours from the time of order. Orders are prepared and dispatched from Monday to Friday. Orders received by 12:00 p.m. are processed on the same day, otherwise on the next working day. The above delivery times may not be guaranteed during certain periods of the year.
  2. All product deliveries are at the risk of Verduci Editore S.r.l. The risk is transferred to the Customer upon delivery of the products by the shipper, carrier or other agent appointed by Verduci Editore S.r.l. Normally goods are shipped via Bartolini courier. Each shipment can be tracked using the tracking code provided by the courier on its website. This code will be provided upon request.
  3. Verduci Editore S.r.l. cannot be held liable for any delay in processing the order or delivering the goods ordered.
  4. Unless otherwise stated, delivery is intended at street level only. Upon delivery of the goods by the courier, the Customer must check:
    a) that the number of packages delivered corresponds to that indicated on the transport document;
    b) that the packaging is intact, not damaged, wet or otherwise altered, including the sealing materials (adhesive tape or straps).
    Any damage to the packaging and/or product or discrepancies in the number of packages or information must be immediately reported by writing “ACCEPTED WITH RESERVATION” on the courier’s delivery slip. Once the courier’s document has been signed without reservation, the Customer may no longer raise any objection regarding the external condition of the delivered goods.
  5. If the Customer fails to collect the goods within 5 working days from the date they are placed in storage at the courier’s warehouse, due to repeated inability to deliver to the address specified by the Customer at the time of the order,
    the order will be automatically cancelled and the parcel will be returned to Verduci Editore S.r.l. The invoice, listing the products contained in the parcel and detailing shipping costs, will be sent together with the goods.

Right of withdrawal

  1. Pursuant to Legislative Decree of 06/09 no. 206, the consumer Customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase agreement for any reason, without having to provide explanations and without penalty, within 10 days from delivery of the products. To exercise this right, the Customer must send written notice by registered letter with return receipt to Verduci Editore S.r.l., via Gregorio VII, 186, 00165 – Rome, or by e-mail to info@verduci.it, indicating the product(s) for which he/she intends to exercise the right of withdrawal, provided that they are intact. Once the withdrawal notice has been received, Verduci Editore S.r.l. will promptly inform the Customer of the procedure for returning the goods.
  2. The right of withdrawal is subject to the following conditions:
    • the right applies to the product purchased in its entirety; withdrawal cannot be exercised only on part of the product;
    • the purchased item must be intact;
    • by law, the shipping costs for returning the goods are borne by the Customer;
    • the shipment, until proof of receipt at our warehouse, is under the full responsibility of the Customer. In case of damage to the goods during transport, Verduci Editore S.r.l. will notify the Customer of the incident so that he/she can promptly file a complaint against the chosen courier and obtain reimbursement of the value of the goods (if insured);
    • Verduci Editore S.r.l. is in no way liable for damage or theft/loss of goods returned with uninsured shipments;
    • upon arrival at the warehouse, the product will be inspected to assess any damage or tampering not caused by transport. If the original packaging and/or internal packing is damaged, Verduci Editore S.r.l. may withhold from the refund a percentage, in any case not exceeding 20%, as a contribution to restoration costs;
    • if the product has been opened and the seals broken, no refund will be made.
  3. Without prejudice to any restoration costs for damage to the original packaging, Verduci Editore S.r.l. will refund the Customer the full amount already paid within 30 days from receipt of the returned goods, by bank transfer. The Customer shall promptly provide the bank details (full IBAN code) needed to obtain the refund.
  4. The right of withdrawal is totally forfeited in the absence of the essential condition of integrity of the goods (packaging and/or contents), in cases where Verduci Editore S.r.l. ascertains:
    • the absence of the external packaging and/or the original internal packing;
    • the absence of integral parts of the product;
    • damage to the product for causes other than transport.

    In the event of forfeiture of the right of withdrawal, Verduci Editore S.r.l. will return the goods to the sender, charging the shipping costs to the Customer.

Applicable law

  1. The sales contract between the Customer and Verduci Editore S.r.l. is deemed to be concluded in Italy and is governed by Italian law. For any civil and criminal disputes arising from the conclusion of this distance sales contract, the court of Rome shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
